Steven Dwain Buendel, born January 22, 1962, to Clarence Buendel and Pauline Hushke Buendel in Jourdanton, Texas, passed suddenly on May 15, 2026 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Steven was a hard worker. He was always willing to help anyone and everyone no matter what the task was. He worked in the oilfield most of his life, until his retirement at 62. He was known

hunting and watching Aggie football.
Steven is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Pauline Buendel.
He is survived by his wife, Becky Sain Buendel of Alice, Texas; daughter Brittney Buendel of Alice, Texas; siblings Rita Wright (Jim) of Sandia, Texas; Clarence Buendel (Helen) of
Huntsville, Texas, James Buendel of Orange Grove, Texas; and his many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church 1400 N Texas Blvd, Alice, TX. A Christian Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
