Terry Eugene Pavlicek, age 61, went to be with the Lord on August 19, 2022 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born November 17, 1960 in Nueces County, Texas to Joy Ann and Eugene Edward Pavlicek. He graduated Calallen High School on June 1st, 1979.
Terry “Tortuga” was a pipeline welder, and lived for the pipeline life. He was a hardworking man, and many would say he was a great mentor and also loved to teach others his trade. When he wasn’t working, he was picking and playing guitar or his banjo, and even bought a huge sound machine that he would blare out at his property. He loved to have a good time. He played hard and worked hard, and had a huge heart. He loved every one he met and never met a stranger. Terry succumbed to a late illness and was finally able to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Terry is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn Pavlicek of Corpus Christi, Texas; his two sons, Terry (Britanie) Pavlicek, II, and Matthew (Megan) Pavlicek; two daughters, Amie L. Daniel (Dr. Ron J.) Guevara of Skidmore, Texas, and Christy Pavlicek of Corpus Christi, Texas; one sister, Candy (Stormy) Keiper of Sandia, Texas, as well as eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
