Tomasita "Ama" Garcia

Tomasita C. "Ama" Garcia, age 84, passed away peacefully in her home on October 1, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 19,1938 in Agua Dulce ,Texas to Merced Castillo and Pilar Ybarra. 
Tomasita spent her life caring for her family and providing them with love and a warm home. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Amador Ysassi Garcia, Sr.; Parents; Merced and Pilar Ybarra Castillo; daughter, Mary Garcia; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. 
Tomasita is survived by her children, Irma "Mimi" Garcia and Amador (Maggie) Garcia, Jr. both of Banquete, Texas; A very special grand daughter who she loved as a daughter Andrea Garcia, 6 more grandchildren, Andrew, David, Amy, Jason, and Kevin Garcia and Marcos Romero; great grandchildren, Abby, Alie, Ryan, Ava, Sophia, and Emilia; siblings, Katherine (David) Villarreal of Fort Worth, Texas, Carolina De Luna of Allen, Texas, Ramiro Castillo and Erasmo Castillo both of Agua Dulce, Texas. 
The Garcia family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Healthy Horizon Hospice staff; especially to her nurse, Betty Villarreal, for their love, care, and compassion they showed to our beloved "Ama".
