Yolanda Revilla

Yolanda Revilla, age 75, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, October 8, 2020 in Corpus Christi, TX. She was born in Falfurrias, TX on June 19, 1945 to Lucas and Cruz Lopez Revilla, Jr.

She enjoyed going to the La Vida Buena Adult Day Care, playing bingo and chalupa, watching wrestling and westerns, and drinking cold beer.  She especially liked spending time with her family. Yolanda was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Rogerio Revilla and Jose Luis Revilla; and sister, Ruth Barrientes.  

Yolanda is survived by her sons, George Revilla and Johnny Martinez of Alice, TX; granddaughter, Lori Ann Martinez of Alice, TX; brother, Lucas Revilla of Alice, TX; sisters, Hermalinda (Martin Jr.) Flores of Alice, TX, Maria Antonia Perea of Edinburg, TX, Rafaela Boudah of AL, Longina (David) Pena of Corpus Christi, TX, Argelia (Leonel) Trejo of Alice, TX, Rosario (James) Nielson of Plano, TX, Melly Moody of Dallas, TX, and Terry (Ronald) Barrett of Rockwall, TX; sisters-in-law, Juanita Galvan Revilla and Melba Revilla; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main ST. Alice, TX. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Private Graveside services will be held at a later date.
