Obituary
Dolores A. Garza, age 77, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, January 17, 2022, in Alice, Texas. She was born on March 6th, 1944 in Alice, Texas to Vicente Aguilar and Carmen Franco Aguilar.
Dolores was a member of the First Baptist Church and sang in the choir. She enjoyed line dancing, gospel music, and shopping. Dolores was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; her grandson, Ricardo S. Garza III.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Richard R. Garza; one daughter, Danette (Tommy) Molina of Alice, Texas; one son, Ricardo Garza Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas; 2 granddaughters, Nicole (Adam) Flores of New Braunfels; Alyssa (Ryan Hottle) Rodriguez of San Antonio, Texas; 2 grandsons, Nathan L. (Brenda) Rangel; Joshua A. Hernandez; 5 great grandchildren, Adam Flores III, Mila Hottle, Danica Flores, Ryan Hottle Jr., and Aidan B. Garza; one brother, Vicente (Molly) Aguilar Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Due to Covid-19 the family has requested all services to be private.
Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 East Main Street, Alice, Texas.
